Stephane Sednaoui is in the Nagano mountains in Japan as we speak.
Born and raised in Paris, France there is nothing conventional about him. If his life as a photographer, filmmaker, and artist — starting over in many different places — doesn’t feel transformative enough: I catch him in the midst of what seems to be yet another transformation — one more personal and a sort of home coming a circle closing.
His larger-than-life career gave birth to master-pieces like Björk’s “Big Time Sensuality” and Red Hot Chili Peppers “Give it Away.” One can only guesstimate Sednaoui’s influence on pop-culture.
